Hello Everyone!
I am very excited to begin my third year as the Island People’s Project Morning Program Director! Last summer was fantastic and I can’t wait for another amazing Morning Program! I’m looking forward to establishing an amazing team of counselors for summer of 2012. Now is the time to apply! Island People's Project was formed to enrich and supplement the educational and cultural development of the residents of Fishers Island. I believe that this program is a very important part of the community and I am very passionate about continuing to see it grow and succeed. I am looking to hire counselors who are dedicated, energetic, and really enjoy working with children. All first-time applicants must fill out a new counselor application form, please select the blue form below on the left.

If you are a new applicant (and have not been a Morning Program counselor before) click on the BLUE form.	If you have been a Morning Program counselor before, click on the GREEN form.

If you are a returning counselor and want to be a part of IPP again this summer, please email me at ippfiny@gmail.com ASAP regarding your intent to return, and include the dates you will be on the island. You will need to submit an application for returning counselors. Please select the green form above on the right. Consideration will be given to counselors that can work the full six weeks, so please look carefully at your summer schedules.

These applications are intended to help me evaluate applicants as well as include prospective counselors in developing creative ideas for the camp. IPP is lots of fun and I want the counselors to be a part of the creative process! For priority consideration, please submit
your application no later than Thursday March 1, 2012. Final deadlines for counselor applications are Friday April 6, 2012. Applications can be submitted via email to ippfiny@gmail.com or mailed to: Marilyn Mullen, 2917 St. Paul St., Baltimore, MD, 21218. As positions will fill quickly, I recommend applying as soon as possible.

 IPP Morning Program will run from July 2--August 10, 2012 with hours from 8:30-12:30 daily. Counselors should plan to attend "MOVE IN!!!" on Thursday June 28, 2012 from 9:00 to 1:00 and Orientation on June 29, 2012 from 9:00-12:00. Counselors should also plan to stay late on August 10th to pack up supplies. Please make sure your Fist Aid/CPR card is up to date. If it is not up to date, or you have not taken a CPR class, please take a class. It is important that this information is current. I am looking forward to establishing a wonderful team of counselors and having lots of fun this summer! Together we will create a wonderful program for the community!
