The Morning Program is perhaps our most visible contribution
to island life in the summer, but we organize, plan and contribute
to many other things as well!

Many Library Events, Lectures and Programs are co-sponsored by IPP.

Dock Beach

Dock Beach, owned and run by IPP, is a crescent shaped beach located along the western shore of Fishers Island at the mouth of West Harbor. It is Fishers Island's smallest beach, but its beauty and charm is matchless. The sky blue waters and soft, white sands are perfect for young children, and the water is clear enough for snorkeling.  Because of its calmer waters protected by the inlet of West Harbor, the beach is interesting and informative for children as they come across hermit crabs, spider crabs, red jellies and moon jellies.  There is a roped off swim area and  lifeguards will be on duty weekdays throughout July and August  11:00am to 4:00pm. Bring a picnic and while the kids swim you can enjoy the views of moored sailboats and in the distance the majestic Long Island Sound.

Ball Field

The Ball Field is also owned and maintained by IPP.
